The Welsh legislature is officially known as what?

The official title of Wales's devolved legislature is the Senedd. In 2020, the body adopted the name Senedd Cymru / Senedd to reflect its role as Wales’s parliament, moving away from the former label National Assembly for Wales. While people might still refer to it as the Welsh Assembly or simply Parliament, the formal designation used by the institution is the Senedd. The other terms aren’t the official name for this body, and choosing a different term wouldn’t align with how the institution is recognized today.
