What is the Scottish Parliament often called?

Commonly, parliaments are referred to by the place they sit. The Scottish Parliament meets in the Holyrood area of Edinburgh, at the building beside the Palace of Holyroodhouse, so people call it Holyrood. This nickname sticks in everyday speech and in the media, even though its official name is the Scottish Parliament. The other terms don’t fit: Cairn isn’t associated with the Parliament, Edinburgh Assembly isn’t the widely used name since devolution, and Westminster refers to the UK-wide Parliament in London, not Scotland’s devolved body.
