Where does Parliament sit?

Parliament sits at the Palace of Westminster in London, the building that houses both the House of Commons and the House of Lords. It’s the seat where debates, laws, and scrutiny of the government take place, inside the historic complex by the River Thames. Buckingham Palace is the monarch’s official residence, Westminster Abbey is a church used for royal ceremonies, and Trafalgar Square is a public square—none of these host Parliament’s sessions.
